YG Entertainment's BABYMONSTER is accelerating preparations with the goal of debuting in September

BABYMONSTER(AHYEON, RUKA, PHARITA, ASA, HARAM, RORA, CHIQUITA) is actively preparing for their debut, aiming for September.

According to YG Entertainment on the 11th, under the overall supervision of YG's producer Yang Hyun-suk, BABYMONSTER's debut project is progressing rapidly. They have confirmed a debut song in the intense hip-hop genre and are currently focusing on the final stages of choreography, music video production, and other related tasks, with the goal of releasing the debut in September.

YG has been actively working on BABYMONSTER's album by inviting renowned overseas producers to Korea and conducting numerous song camps. Through these efforts, they have secured multiple tracks, including the debut song, and have already outlined plans for subsequent projects to be released after the debut.

YG stated, "We are aware that global fans have been inquiring about the debut timing of BABYMONSTER, so we wanted to share the current progress. We will soon bring you good news."

BABYMONSTER's music is expected to follow the strong hip-hop genre in the "YG style," following the footsteps of 2NE1 and BLACKPINK, raising anticipation among fans.

BABYMONSTER is the first girl group to be introduced by YG in approximately seven years since BLACKPINK. The group consists of multinational members, including members from Korea (Ahyeon, Haram, Rora), Thailand (Parita, Chiquita), and Japan (Ruka, Asa). YG Entertainment described the members of BabyMonster as having outstanding vocal, dance, rap, and visual skills.

Even before their official debut, BABYMONSTER has already gained global attention. Their pre-debut song "DREAM" achieved the remarkable feat of reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart even before its official release. Additionally, the music video has surpassed 47 million views on YouTube, indicating their significant presence.
