The news of the contract for season 2 of the drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' is receiving attention.
The production company A Story and writer Moon Ji-won, who collaborated on ENA's 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', recently concluded the writing contract for season 2. A representative from A Story confirmed the news on the 9th, stating, "It is true that we have signed a contract for 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' season 2" to WikiTree.
However, they added, "Since writer Moon Ji-won is currently involved in other ongoing projects, we can only say that the production of 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' season 2 is currently in the internal development stage." They also clarified that there are no confirmed details yet, such as the participation of actors Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh, who were the main cast of the first season.
'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', which started its first broadcast on the newly launched channel ENA in June last year with less than 1% viewership (provided by Nielsen Korea), ended in August with a remarkable record of 17.5% viewership for its final episode.
Throughout its airing, 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' sparked a wave of heartwarming drama and depicted the survival story of rookie lawyer Woo Young Woo (played by Park Eun Bin), who has both a brilliant mind and autism spectrum disorder, in a large law firm.
