13일(현지시각) 세계 주요 도시에서 바지를 벗고 대중교통을 이용하는 플래시몹 '노 팬츠 데이'(No Pants Day) 행사가 열렸다.
미국, 영국, 캐나다, 체코, 폴란드 등 일부 국가에서는 추운 날씨에도 많은 이들이 하의를 탈의한 채 지하철을 타거나 거리를 거닐었다.
'노 팬츠 데이'는 2002년 뉴욕에서 시작돼 임프루브 에브리웨어(Improv Everywhere)라는 단체에 의해 전 세계적으로 확산됐다. 일상 속에서 작은 즐거움을 가지자는 취지에서 시작됐다.
'바지 벗고 지하철 타기'(No Pants Subway Ride)라고도 불린다. 세계 곳곳에서 전해진 현장 사진과 영상이다.
