A concept built on real places and real memories
The first photo set, titled “BRIDGE” captures the members moving through Seoul in an unusually natural way. There is no flashy makeup, no elaborate wardrobe, and no attempt to create distance between the artists and the setting. Instead, CORTIS appear as they are walking through ordinary streets, framed by locations that actually matter to them.
That detail gives the concept photos a stronger emotional pull.
According to BigHit Music, the locations used in the shoot are tied directly to the group’s real history. The overpass seen in the group photo, Sinsa 2 Overpass (Gilmajung Bridge), was a place the members used to pass by during their trainee days. Another location, the fence in front of an apartment building, was also part of their everyday route back then. It is even connected to the lyric “If I have to go back, I’d rather jump right over the fence” from their debut title track ‘What You Want’.

The “Young Creator Crew” identity feels sharper here
CORTIS have often been presented as a “Young Creator Crew” a label that suggests more than performance alone. It points to a group actively involved in shaping its own story, not only through music but through visual language as well. That identity feels especially strong in this rollout.
The photos do not rely on glamour to create impact. Instead, they turn their own history into the concept. By grounding the visuals in real locations from their past, CORTIS make the album feel autobiographical in a way that many concept teasers only suggest on the surface.

Each member brings a different kind of color
The individual photos extend that mood even further.
Each member carries a different shade of this “unfiltered” concept. Martin stands beneath the sunlight with his collar raised, giving off a cool, instinctive edge. James poses in front of a construction barrier with the ease of a fashion shoot, while Juhun leans into the lived-in texture of an ordinary wall. Seonghyun appears lost in thought with deliberately tousled hair, and Geonho gives the camera an untamed gaze that matches the rougher mood of the concept.
A Google Maps promo adds another layer
To deepen the storytelling around the album photos, CORTIS are also launching an unusual promotion using Google Maps. As each version of the concept photos is released, a specific member will leave a review on the actual map location where the pictures were taken. The idea is not simply to mark the place, but to share personal memories and backstory tied to the site.
It is a small promotional detail, but an effective one. Rather than simply posting captions, the group is embedding its story into real-world places fans can look up and connect with. That gives the comeback campaign a sense of place that feels both modern and emotionally grounded.
CORTIS will pre-release the title track ‘REDRED’ on April 20 at 6 p.m. KST. The full mini album ‘GREENGREEN’ is scheduled for official release on May 4.
