The Korean Business Research Institute has released the results of its big data analysis for January 2025, highlighting the brand reputation of South Korea’s top 100 movie actors.
Hyun Bin claimed the top spot, fueled by the success of his recent film 'Harbin', which has attracted over 4 million viewers and received widespread acclaim. Beyond his acting achievements, Hyun Bin has been praised for his philanthropic activities, including his contributions with his wife, actress Son Ye-jin.
On January 6, the couple donated a total of 300 million KRW to advance pediatric and obstetrics/gynecology departments at Asan Medical Center and Samsung Medical Center, contributing 150 million KRW each.
According to the Korean Business Research Institute, Hyun Bin’s brand saw high rankings in the link analysis for terms like "contemplate," "donate," and "thank." In the keyword analysis, 'Harbin,' and 'An Jung-geun,' were prominent. His positive sentiment ratio was measured at 84.03%.
In a surprising result, Lee Jun-hyuk secured the second position. Although he has been in the industry for years, his popularity has surged recently. Lee is currently starring alongside Han Ji-min in the drama 'Love Scout', where his stunning visuals and stellar acting have captivated audiences.
Lee Je-hoon claimed the third spot, earning recognition for his excellent performance in last year’s film 'Escape.'
