Actor Go Kyung-pyo has personally responded to malicious rumors circulating online. On January 7, Go took to his social media to post a sticker photo along with the message in English: "Don’t worry. I’m not crazy like that."
He followed up with another statement, saying, "Now, let’s see what happens to the lunatics," as he directly addressed the rumors.
On the same day, online communities and social media platforms were abuzz with false claims about the actor. Among the rumors was a claim that Go had engaged in inappropriate behavior at a self-service photo booth, sparking widespread controversy.
In response, Go Kyung-pyo shared his sticker photo to refute the allegations and clarify his position. His agency, CLN Company, also released an official statement on their social media, condemning the spread of false rumors about their artist.
The agency stated, "Recently, baseless falsehoods about our artist Go Kyung-pyo have been recklessly spread online and through social media." They emphasized their firm stance against such actions, calling it a criminal act that severely damages the artist’s reputation and dignity.
"We will pursue strict legal action against malicious slander, the dissemination of false information, and its amplification through ongoing monitoring. No leniency or settlements will be made for any illegal actions that occur after this notice," the agency declared.
They further reassured fans, stating, "We will continue to work tirelessly to protect the rights and interests of our artist and support the fans."
