Stray Kids have set a new milestone for K-pop groups by achieving the highest ranking ever for a K-pop Artist on the Billboard Year-End charts.
According to Billboard’s 2024 Year-End report (published December 13, local time), Stray Kids (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N) ranked 73rd on the Top Artists chart, marking the best performance by a K-pop group.
On the Year-End Billboard 200 chart, two of their albums made it to the rankings: '樂-STAR' (Rockstar) at No. 123 and 'ATE' at No. 139. Notably, they achieved remarkable results on the Top Album Sales chart, with '樂-STAR' at No. 4 and 'ATE' at No. 9, the highest placements for a Korean artist.
Stray Kids dominated multiple other categories, securing first and second place in the World Albums chart, first place in the World Album Artists category, second place in Top Album Sales Artists, fourth in Top Artist Duos/Groups, and fourth in Billboard 200 Artist Duos/Groups.
Adding to their accolades, Stray Kids performed at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) on December 12, drawing global attention. They also won the Top Global K-Pop Artist award, following their win in the Top K-Pop Album category last year.
On December 13, Stray Kids released their latest album SKZHOP HIPTAPE '合 (HOP)' along with the title track 'Walkin On Water.' The music video for the new song quickly climbed to the top of YouTube’s Worldwide Trending Music Videos, solidifying their influence once again.
