Everglow's Mia Pre-pays for Drinks at a Local Café for Participants at the Impeachment Rally

Recently, on social media and online communities, Everglow's Mia has gained attention for pre-paying for coffee at a local café for participants at the impeachment rally.

Mia shared the news through the official fan community, saying, "Is anyone going to the (impeachment rally) today? It's cold, so make sure to dress warmly," along with a message announcing that she had pre-paid for drinks at a nearby café.

Following Mia’s pre-payment, a "pre-payment relay" began among fans. As temperatures dropped, more netizens joined in by pre-paying for coffee for people attending the rally, and Mia became the first idol to take part in this initiative.

Musical actor Kang Ki-doong also shared on his SNS that he had pre-paid for 50 cups of coffee for his fan café, "Dooongi." He expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for the kind gesture. It warms my heart as well. I hope everyone stays healthy."

Kang Ki-doong's fans also joined in, with an anonymous fan pre-paying for 100 more cups of coffee, continuing the warm relay.

Meanwhile, on the 7th, the National Assembly was scheduled to vote on the Kim Geon-hee Special Investigation Act and the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-youl. However, members of the People Power Party voted only on the Kim Geon-hee Special Investigation Act and then 107 members, excluding Ahn Cheol-soo, left the session. As a result, only 195 members participated in the impeachment vote, falling short of the 200 votes needed to pass, and the motion was automatically discarded due to the lack of quorum.
