tvN's new series and TVING original drama ‘Wongyeong’ (English Title: The Queen Who Crowns) released its first stills on the 6th.

Actress Cha Joo-young, who gained widespread recognition through Netflix's 'The Glory,' is taking on the role of Queen Wongyeong in the historical drama. Her high-class visuals are drawing attention.

‘Wongyeong’ tells the story of King Taejong Lee Bang-won, the third king of the Joseon Dynasty, and his wife, Queen Wongyeong. The drama centers around the passionate relationship between the king and queen, as well as between husband and wife. Cha Joo-young makes a glamorous return by portraying Queen Wongyeong, Lee Bang-won's wife and political partner.

This drama is unique in focusing on Queen Wongyeong, the wife of King Taejong and the mother of King Sejong, as the main character. It's the first historical drama to spotlight Queen Wongyeong, raising high expectations.

Queen Wongyeong is the daughter of the most prestigious family in Goryeo, blessed with both beauty and exceptional intelligence. Together with her husband, Lee Bang-won, she dreams of a peaceful world for the people and fights to gain power. However, as her husband envisions a new world in his own way, she faces a period of intense upheaval.
